Anesthesia Charges
AAMG adheres to national conventions when billing for the professional anesthesia services. Several factors impact the amount of the anesthesia charge including: the type of surgical procedure, time involved, patient's health status and separate procedures for post-operative pain management.
Billing Procedures
Abeo will bill your insurance company for the anesthesia and/or pain management procedures that were provided. AAMG participates with most of the insurance plans. You will receive a statement showing the status of your account if you don't have insurance or if there is a balance due after the claim has been processed by your insurance carrier.
Payment Policy
After the insurance company processes the anesthesia claim there may be a balance remaining which the patient is responsible to pay. If you have secondary insurance and provided that information at the time of service, we will automatically bill your secondary insurance for the balance. If you do not have secondary insurance, you will receive a statement for any amounts you are responsible to pay. This balance is due upon receipt of a statement.
If you cannot afford to pay the account balance within 30 days, please contact our billing office to set up payment arrangements.
We accept payment by cash, check, money order, Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards.
